RSPS GUIDE
RSPS Safety Tips | Accounts and Downloads
Explore practical RSPS safety tips for unique passwords, official client downloads, community links and protecting your device while playing.
Protect your account and device
Use a unique password for every private server and never enter your official RuneScape or Jagex credentials on an RSPS. A password manager can help keep these separate.
Download clients from the server’s own official website, inspect any unfamiliar download prompts and leave browser and antivirus protections on. Confirm community links through the server’s listed site rather than an unsolicited message.
Private servers are independent communities with different moderation and purchase policies. Read the rules before spending money or sharing personal information.
